AREAS+ First Cohort - First Call for Applications

AREAS+ First Cohort -  Selection Outcomes

We are glad to announce that the selection process for the 1st call for applications of the AREAS+ project, opened on 15th November 2013 and closed on 15th February 2014, has been completed.

The Partnership has received more than 1.700 closed applications within the call deadline, submitted by 945 applicants. Around 60% of the total available scholarships were awarded within the first call for applications.

Valid applications have been evaluated and applicants have been notified with a personal email message.

The Selection Outcomes of the AREAS+ First Call for Applications are have been published on 29th April, 2014 on the AREAS+ online administration database: www.areasapplication.it.
In order to check the status of their application, candidates access to their personal profile by using the email address and the password sent the, by the system at the time they submitted your application.
The application outcome can be:
- SELECTED: the application is selected for a scholarship at the specified Hosting University. Selected applicants are required to accept the scholarship and sign the Scholarship Contract within 7 calendar days.
- RESERVE: the application is in the reserve list and may later be selected in case of withdrawal of other applicants. In this case you will be notified and will be required to accept the scholarship as above. This may happen until 31st December, 2014.
- NOT SELECTED: in this case, a reason why the application was not selected is shown.

Selections have been performed according to the criteria described in the Call for Application and in the specific section of this website.

First Call for Applications

AREAS+ provides scholarships for students, researchers and staff fromEuropeand from the target countries in order to study or carry out research, training or teaching at one of the partner universities. Individuals can participate to the scholarship program on a wide variety of academic fields at different levels of study (Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate, Post-doctorate, Academic and Administrative Staff) offered by the partner Universities.

The project provides for the following numbers of scholarships for the different nationalities, target groups and mobility levels:

 Scholarships will be awarded in two cohorts of applicants selected respectively in the year 2014 and 2015 for mobilities starting in the same years.
